Even though our individual challenges are unique we can help each other through this difficult time.

We have both been faced with the challenge of our lives. You are making a difficult and courageous decision and we admire your strength. Our commitment to you will be to support you throughout the adoption process and reassure you that your child will be placed in a loving and supportive family. We will be forever grateful if you chose us to be the adoptive parents of your child and you would always hold a special place in our hearts.

Parenting is one of the hardest jobs—yet it is the job that we love the most. Adoption answered our prayers in July of 2007 when we welcomed our daughter Addison into our family. We have been through years of infertility and without adoption we would be childless. We are hopeful that our family of three will grow and that Addison can experience life with siblings, but it is out of our control. You have the most difficult decision to make. We are in awe of your dignity, grace, and above all your unselfishness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us to be the adoptive parents of your child, we look forward to meeting you.

What Family Means to Us

Both of us have been taught to live our lives to the fullest and to surround ourselves with family and good friends who can share in the joys and challenges of daily life. We value our families and we treat our closest friends as though they are a part of the family as well. We are close with all of our family. Along with Addison being adopted into our family, Leanne’s sister Rachelle was adopted at birth too. Both of our families have been very supportive of building our family through adoption and they are excited and hopeful that we will be adding to our family!

Our Story

We have been together for eleven years and married for eight. We have grown even closer over time and have sincerely become best friends. The foundations of our marriage are solid communication, laughter, and lots of fun! We both work very hard to balance our lives to ensure that family time is most important. Our family enjoys camping, long walks, playing in the yard with the dogs, and we really enjoy watching sporting events!

We are both in stable careers and enjoy our jobs. Andy works in telecommunications and is also a volunteer firefighter and first responder. Leanne is a kindergarten teacher at a local school.

The happiest moment in our lives was when Addison became our daughter. She was born in July of 2007 and her adoption was finalized in February of 2008. She is an amazing little girl and is absolutely beautiful inside and out! We look forward to being able to see the sibling bond form between Addison and a new sister or brother. She loves children and especially loves babies!

We have worked hard to provide Addison with an environment filled with love, trust and security. We know how to set limits and also let her develop into an independent child. Our child will be raised in a family with sound morals and a high level of respect for all people. Upon placement of our baby Leanne will take a leave of absence. When Leanne returns to work, Andy’s mom will watch both children.

A Little About Us

Leanne is a warm and loving wife and friend. She has a personality that is one of a kind! She is always smiling and carries a positive energy with her wherever she goes. She can relate to people very well and has a way of making others around her happy and comfortable. One of my favorite things to watch her with our daughter…they share an incredible relationship. She does not take motherhood for granted; she instead cherishes all that motherhood entails. Parenting is tough, but she makes it look so easy. Children respond to her kind ways and she is devoted to her students and to being a good teacher. I cannot wait to see her hold our baby and become a mom again!

Andy is above all else the best father any child could ask for. His eyes light up when he sees his little girl and she adores her dad. Andy is a listener, he is supportive and he truly loves the relationships that he has with those closest to him. Andy is always there for his friends and family and he will drop anything to help someone in need. He is passionate about what he does both professionally and also as a firefighter. I am sure that his patients are put at ease with his kind heart and warm smile. I will treasure the moment that he finds out he is going to be a daddy again.

Addison is a bright little girl who really has grown into an confident toddler. She wakes with a smile and enjoys snuggling and hugs and kisses. She enjoys taking care of people and animals and loves pretending that she is a “mommy” to her baby dolls.

We anticipate that our new addition will bring many smiles to all of our faces and much love to our hearts.

What the Future Holds

We look forward to sharing all of the things we love to do with our child, especially taking him/her to sporting events, camping, taking them to the beach, enjoying summer barbeques with friends and watching them grow with Addison. Your child will be loved by many and will have life-long playmates with all of the young children that surround our family and friends. We are blessed that you have taken the time to get to know us and we pray that we will get the privilege to meet you and help you through this time in your life. Our hearts are with you.
