Dave & Becky

Hello, we are Dave and Becky. We are very grateful that you are taking the time to get to know us. We wish to express our gratitude and love for you as you consider the gift of adoption. We truly believe adoption is a gift of love. In choosing adoption, we know you are making one of the hardest and yet most beautiful decision there is. We pray that you will find the peace and comfort you need in making this very difficult decision.

We both grew up in loving homes and would like to have a family of our own. We have known since the beginning of our relationship that we could not conceive a child, but we knew we could give a child a loving and nurturing home. We will encourage and support him or her in every way. Most importantly, he or she will always have our unconditional love. Thank you for considering us.

Our Lives Together

We met in 1992 through mutual friends. We were married on a beautiful spring day in 1994. Even after 15 years of marriage, our relationship continues to grow stronger every day. We are best friends and have created a loving marriage built on love, honesty, friendship, and respect. We truly enjoy spending time together no matter what we are doing. We share our hobbies and interests with each other. We enjoy attending sporting events such as Nascar races, football and baseball games. We also love to travel and we have been fortunate enough to visit many different places. We recently took our two nieces and nephew on a trip to Disneyworld.

Dave (as told by Becky)

I am so excited to tell you about my husband Dave. Dave is loving, supportive, kind, and very honest. I admire his commitment to his family and friends. I have known since I met Dave that he will be an outstanding father. To our nieces and nephew he is known as fun Uncle “Red”. He will not only play football, but he will help our niece practice her cheer routine or play in the sand with our younger niece. He has a big heart and would do anything for anyone. He has a great sense of humor, which is one of the things that I was first attracted to. I am very proud to be his wife and feel we are truly soul mates.

Becky (as told by Dave)

I cannot begin to tell you how blessed I am to have a wife as loving and caring as Becky. She is very kind and thoughtful. She is a true friend and cares about everyone she meets. Our nieces and nephew love Aunt Becky. She is a creative person who loves working on craft projects with the kids. At Halloween she carves pumpkins and at Christmas she makes homemade ornaments with the kids. No matter what she does, she gives it 100%. One of the qualities I admire most about Becky is how she puts everyone first above herself. She loves to get our family “get well” gifts every time they are sick. If someone needs anything day or night, she is always there, no questions asked. I am so proud and blessed to have such a wonderful and giving wife.

Extended Family

Becky is the oldest of three with a younger sister who has two wonderful children and a younger brother who has a beautiful daughter. Dave is the oldest with one younger brother. Family traditions are very important to both of us. We both come from loving families who have instilled strong values and traditions. Holidays are especially important to us, whether it’s coloring eggs with our nieces and nephews and then chasing the Easter Bunny or Christmas Eve waiting for Santa to visit us and bring us our special gift. We spend a lot of time with our two nieces and nephew by attending their activities such as cheerleading events, school plays, dance recitals, and football games. Becky and her sister were even Girl Scout leaders for her older niece for five years.

Our home

We live in a beautiful three-bedroom bi-level home on one acre. We have lots of wonderful neighbors with young children to play with. We live in a small subdivision in the country about five miles from town. We have a large backyard with plenty of space for a swing set and children’s toys. It’s a very safe and pleasant place to raise children.

Our Promise to You

We promise to cherish and love your child unconditionally. We are very excited to become parents. We will share with your child the values we were taught such as love, honesty, and respect. We respect the choice you are making and know you have put much thought into this very difficult decision. If you choose us, please know that your child will be welcomed into a happy and loving home.
